Nuke Info Tokyo Crowdfunding Campaign: Thank you so much for your support!

Citizens’ Nuclear Information Center would like to express our sincere gratitude for all off the support we received for our crowdfunding campaign.

Following the major success of the first NIT crowdfunding in 2021, we tried our second crowdfunding campaign from October 7 to November 22. The main aim of the project was to secure funding to continue publishing Nuke Info Tokyo on our website, free of charge. The other aim of the campaign was to raise awareness in nuclear issues and about NIT and CNIC.

More than 140 people contributed to our campaign. Thanks to this kind and generous support, we were able to achieve our goal of 1,500,000 yen and raised a total of 1,690,000 yen. These donations will be used to fund the production of Nuke Info Tokyo. Of the total amount of 1,690,000 yen, 1,500,000 yen covers the production cost of NIT during fiscal 2024 and the rest will be used next fiscal year. We would like to truly thank all the people who made donations to our crowdfunding. Taking this opportunity, we would like to introduce and thank some of the supporters for our campaign.

We are also deeply grateful for all the people who supported us in various ways; by writing messages of support, by spreading the word through your friends and social medias, and by subscribing to NIT. It has been very encouraging for us to receive so much support and many, many warm messages.

We are very happy and grateful that we will be able to continue to publish and improve NIT into the future, and we hope that we were able to reach many people who didn’t know NIT before through this campaign.

We will continue to strive and hope that expert, independent information on nuclear issues in Japan which NIT provides to the English speaking community around the world will help us realize a nuclear free world together.

We would like to thank all of our supporters again from bottom of our heart.
